Day 1: July 2*, Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and City tour
Meet at airport and transfer to hotel in Ulaanbaatar city. After relax, will be day tour exploring Ulaanbaatar. It starts from Sukhbaatar square a central point and spirit of the capital city. Next move is Zaisan hill with panoramic view of whole city and Gandan monastery with its gold plated 26 m Bodhisattva statue decorated with precious stones. After lunch in fine restaurant will be excursion to the Natural history museum, where the biggest dinosaur skeletons in the world and the precious fossilized dinosaur eggs and bones found in Gobi Desert are kept intact. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2. July 3*, Baga Gazriin Chuluu /Earth stone
Drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu /Earth stone/ little mountain of Middle Gobi. Excursion to Earth stone, a sacred rocky mountain, 1760m above sea level, and is famous for its unique rock formation and beautiful natural environment. There is a small wood of elms, growing on rocky slopes and also a 20 m deep cave and spring emerging from holes up to 60 cm. Overnight in tourist resort.
Day 3. July 4, Oasis in the Gobi
Visit to Sum Huh Burd oasis in the Gobi with a small lake, which has an ancient stone fortress on an island in the center of the lake. The fortress, built in 16th century, has walls 1.5 meters thick and no roof. Legend says that all attempts to build a roof were thwarted by lightning. Overnight in tourist resort.
Day 4. July 5, Explore Dinosaur Country
Drive to South Gobi. On the way visit to Bayanzag /flaming cliffs/, saxaul forest of Gobi Desert and explore the “Gobi Dinosaur Cemetery” and follow the historic trail of paleontologist. Overnight in tourist resort.
Day 5. July 6*, Visit Eagle Valley
Visit Yol /Lammergeyer/ valley in National Park of Three Beauty Mountain for day trek and an opportunity to photograph the stunning landscape of Altai Mountain chain, Gobi Glacier and intriguing wildlife. Leisure hiking. Overnight in tourist resort.
Day 6. July 7*, Ongi Monastery
Drive to Middle Gobi. Late afternoon arrival at camp. Hiking nearby Gobi mountain and along only River Ongi of Gobi. Visit destroyed monastery of Ongi with interesting history. Overnight in tourist resort.
Day 7. July 8*, Ancient capital city Karakorum
After breakfast drive to ancient capital of Mongolian Empire, which founded Chingis Khaan and was one of the stops along the legendary “Silk road”. Look around now day little town Karakorum and see historical tower on the hill. Overnight in tourist resort.
Day 8. July 9*, Erdene Zuu monastery
Visit to Erdene Zuu monastery of 16th century, built on the site of the legendary capital city, using their bricks and stones from the ruins of Karakorum. Visit to Karakorum museum. Overnight in tourist resort.
Day 9. July 10*, Khustai NP
Drive to Khustai Nature Reserve to see the Przewalski wild horses, recently re-introduced back to Mongolia. Visit the local information center for learn about the history of the last pure wild horses and the history of the area. Overnight in tourist resort.
Day 10. July 11*, Back to Ulaanbaatar and The ceremony of Naadam festival
Drive to Ulaanbaatar. Participation in Naadam Festival Ceremony. See Mongolian wrestling and archery. Visit to new build huge statue of Chingis Khan. Gala dinner with art show. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 11. July 12*, Second day of Naadam
Watch second day of Naadam, including wrestling, archery and traditional games. Tour the tent camp of the horse trainers and watch as they prepare the young riders for races. Evening art performance. This fascinating folklore performance includes traditional folk song, throat singing, beauty melody of horse fiddle, ethnic dances and artistic contortion. Overnight in hotel.
Day 12. July 13*, Departure Mongolia
After breakfast transfer to departure.
