At the beginning of the nineteenth century, Russian scientist N.M.Prejevalsky had discovered a ancestry of the Mongolian horse Takhi and this was listed as a horse named Prejevalsky. In 1960 there were 31 heads of these wild horse gone into Mongolia. Since then, in 1992 have been reintroduced 15 horses and every in three years 18-20 horses more for 3 consecutive years, total 84 Takhi were reintroduced and they are now grown to over 300. The first foal was born in Mongolia in 1993.

Within the 50.6 thousand hectare of Hustai National Park (SPA), there are 459 species of vascular plants, 85 species of dung, 90 species of moss, 33 species of mushrooms, red deer, gazelle, roe deer, wild boar, argali sheep, ibex, Mongolian marmot 44 species of mammals, steppe and field eagle, goosey hawks, flocks, black spots, black spots, ducks, wolves, cats, foxes, yellow foxes, corsac foxes, 217 species of birds, 16 species of fish, 2 species of amphibians, 385 species of insects, including 21 species ants, 55 species of bulbs, 10 rivers and 29 species of locusts. Another species that has not been recorded in the world has ever been known as Hemanthrope, Epidamaeus khustaiensis.
